What types of field construction inspections are required during construction?: Two field inspections must be performed while the pool, spa or bathing lake is being constructed. The first inspection is the rough plumbing inspection. This inspection occurs prior to applying gunite to the pool, spa or bathing lake. The second inspection occurs after application of gunite to the pool, spa or bathing lake and prior to plaster or tile work being started.

When construction work is completed and a Construction Certification letter has been submitted a final construction inspection will be performed.
