At Maricopa County Animal Care & Control we know a thing or two about making connections and saving lives. Animal homelessness is a community problem that requires a community solution. Thanks to the efforts of this community, we save over 95% of our sheltered animals each year.
Ready for a new BFF? Adopt with us!
All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations. Together, we can save lives.
FIND YOUR FUREVER FRIEND
Check out available pets online and write down the A# for the animal(s) you want to meet. Our population changes every few minutes, so check the website an hour before coming in to view current animal availability. Didn't find a match? Visit our shelters to preview additional pets that may be available to adopt soon.
Maximize your visit by knowing which animal(s) you'd like to meet beforehand to help determine if you might be a great match. For health and safety reasons, personal pets are NOT permitted in the shelters.
Our adoption process is easy and affordable. Whether you’re visiting one of our shelter locations or want to join us at an upcoming event we’re happy to help you meet your new family member. It's that easy! All adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations.
