County Road Crews Respond to Storm Damage to SC/SCW Streets

MCDOT crews were dispatched on three separate occasions to repair potholes on Thunderbird Road between 103rd and 94th avenues. Union Hills Drive east of 107th Avenue and the Union Hills Drive/99th Avenue intersection experienced heavy flooding but no closures.

MCDOT is conducting an open house meeting to gather input about preliminary design plans for the rehabilitation of the Old US 80 Bridge over the Gila River.
University Drive - Traffic Signal Modernization & Upgrades

Beginning the first week of January, MCDOT contractor will start work to upgrade the traffic signals at several intersections along University Drive. Construction is slated for completion in May 2010.
El Mirage Road (Bell Road to Deer Valley Drive)

Roadwork Ahead!
MCDOT contractor will place grouted rip-rap around the historical Forest Service concrete drop structure and guardrail posts on Seven Springs Road. Project is slated for completion in December 2009.
County to Use ARRA Funds “Rubberizing” Roads

Beginning as early as March of next year, the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will begin a series of roadway rehabilitation and maintenance projects on more than 35 miles of County roadways using $6.4 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act federal stimulus monies, announced Chairman Max Wilson, Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.
Railroad Crossing on Olive Avenue at Cotton Lane (Phase 1)
